Close to Melrose's superb 12th Century Abbey, you will find The Abbey Mill which has a history that stretches back to the Middle Ages. As a Corn Mill, the Abbey Mill once supplied roasted barley to the Abbey Brewery. Melrose Abbey is also the resting place of the heart of Robert the Bruce, once King of Scotland and is only a 2 minute walk from the mill.
